Cultural Heritage Team

This week, Biraban LALC’s Cultural Heritage team proudly linked up with Heritage Now to embark on a Cultural Heritage dig along the shores of Lake Macquarie at Toronto.

Over the course of the week, the team has been working together on Country to investigate, document, and protect cultural heritage, strengthening connections to place while ensuring important cultural knowledge is respected and preserved.

We acknowledge the significance of this work and thank everyone involved for their collaboration, care, and commitment to protecting Aboriginal cultural heritage on Awabakal Country.
